Here for Good Month Science Fair Judges - St. Agnes School

 The St. Agnes Academy Science Fair is returning for the first time since 2019 on Thursday April 28th.  This local fair is being held to showcase our 7th and 8th grade students’ accomplishments in project development and execution, as well as to determine which student projects will represent St. Agnes at the Massachusetts Science and Engineering Region I Fair in May. 

We are currently seeking volunteers to judge this year’s fair.  Each judge will be asked to evaluate three to four projects during the hour and a half judging session. We will provide you with a scoring rubric in advance and suggested questions for evaluation.  Knowledge of the scientific inquiry process or a background in science or engineering is a plus, but not required.  Judges should plan to arrive between 3:45-4:00 for a brief training session, and all judging should be complete by 5:30 PM. Following the judging you are welcome to attend our reception and award ceremony.
