Berkshire HorseWorks is seeking an energetic and thoughtful Mental Health Professional with a psychology or social work background. Opportunity to work directly with diverse clientele on a private horse ranch. Clients range from at-risk children, families, and inmates to first responders and corporate groups. An Eagala certified equine specialist is on site to train and co-facilitate. Chance to work with horses in efficacious and growing modality.
• Draft and maintain post-session progress notes
• Support Eagala and Eagala-based Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and life skill development sessions,
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), and team building activities
• Work closely with the BHW team through hands-on arena work, shadowing the treatment team during sessions
• Research and track pertinent articles through Google alerts and AI
• Integrate field work observations into presentations
• Must be dependable, drug free, organized, have a flexible schedule, and a great attitude!
• No horse experience necessary
