Heavy Lifting - United to Feed the Berkshires

BUW is hosting the annual Meal Kit Packing event on Saturday, May 3, 2025!

We need a few people to do some set up that requires some heavy lifting, so that the meal kit assembly teams can jump right in and get started as their shift begins and throughout the day as boxes get packed and ready for distribution.

The set-up shift is 8:30 am - 10:00 am and we'll need people to be on hand for heavy lifting throughout the day.  Most boxes are 40 pounds but there are a few boxes that are 50 pounds, we will have hand trucks available. 

This event will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of the Berkshires, 16 Melville Street in Pittsfield. 

Join us for one of the most fun and fulfilling volunteer events that will provide food for so many! We will package 40,000 servings of food that will be distributed to several food pantries throughout the Berkshires. 

Willingness to deliver boxes to pantries would be helpful, too!!
