Description:
JA Teen Reality Fairs help students to role play the typical life decisions of a 25 year old. Students select their desired job and are given the entry-level salary to budget for a month. They visit booths representing lifestyle, career, and budget decisions while balancing their monthly budget. Volunteers assist the students at each booth and offer their guidance and life experiences.
Volunteers will be assigned a booth in the following areas: Housing, Furniture, Transportation & Insurance, Food & Nutrition, Education & Training, Fun Fun Fun, Retirement & Savings, Clothing, Charitable Giving, Part-Time Jobs, Reality Check, Credit Score/Credit Counseling.
