Who We Are

Founded in 1969, Construct Center for Affordable Housing is the leading nonprofit provider of affordable housing and supportive services to residents in fifteen towns across the southern Berkshires.

Construct's MISSION is to change & save lives through housing options and a continuum of support services.

Our VISION is a socially vibrant and economically healthy South Berkshire community with housing for everyone including our most vulnerable neighbors and vital workforce.

What We Do

Construct is committed to providing affordable housing to strengthen and diversify communities, stabilize lives, and empower individuals to build a better future. We support essential workers, vulnerable families and individuals coming out of homelessness to access and sustain homes they can afford.

Construct provides over 80 housing options in the South Berkshires and are always working to develop more. We work with community partners to ensure health and economic stability so that participants can lead increasingly self-sufficient lives.

Supports include micro-loans, rental and other housing assistance, and transitional and permanent supportive housing. With a small, highly skilled staff and committed volunteers, Construct leverages time, talent, money, technology, and long-standing community relationships to support our mission and projects.
