Who We Are
Guided by our Jewish values, the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires brings together the the Berkshire Jewish community to leverage its resources to care for Jews in need here and abroad, assure the continuity of the Jewish people, support a caring relationship with the State of Israel, and mobilize on issues of concern to the local Berkshire community. We do this in collaboration with our local, national, and international partners.
Our Mission: The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires cares for those in need and nurtures and sustains the Jewish community locally, in Israel and around the world today and for future generations.
What We Do
As the hub of the community, the Federation works to create a presence that meets needs and inspires lives – and leads directly to the future we wish for our community and our children.
Leveraging the generosity of our donors and the strategic vision of our community we focus on three areas:
- Caring for our seniors and those in need
- Nurturing a Jewish Future for our children
- Sustaining a Jewish life here and abroad
