On Monday, October 9 there is a collaborative project to pack 300 bags of food. A farmer will come to deliver the produce and we need some assistance to unload the truck. Here are a few examples of what we need to move. There will be bags of onions weighing 40 pounds and potatoes weighing 50 pounds.
Volunteers are needed from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. at Berkshire South Regional Community Center in Great Barrington. The task may go quicker than 90 minutes.
At 10:00 another crew of volunteers will come in to make a bag will all the ingredients to make a hearty fall harvest soup that will be delivered to many local food pantries.
