2025 BUW Shred Day Greeters

Adult and Youth Volunteers are needed to help support Berkshire United Way's very popular SHRED Day sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union.

The event is held in the parking lot on the corner of South Street and Clinton Avenue in Pittsfield, MA.  This is a family-friendly activity and a perfect way to teach youth about volunteering. Historically, Scouts and National Honor Society students have participated in this event, we welcome any youth service organization to volunteer

Select one or more shifts:

Shift 1 - 8:30 am -10:30 am - help complete set up, greet drivers, accept donations and direct cars to shred area.

Shift 2 - 10:30 am-12:30 pm - greet drivers, accept donations, direct cars to shred area and help with breakdown/clean up.
