Needs From: Berkshire United Way

The Food Bank of Western MA has informed Berkshire Bounty that a 7-acre farm in Chester would like to donate this year's blueberry crop to food access sites. Additionally, an abundance of raspberries in Monterey has also been offered. They estimate this equates to 10,000-15,000 pounds of blueberries.

Since this year is also Berkshire Bounty's 10-year anniversary, we would love to have the community come together to help reach the 10,000-pound goal.

Day and times are flexible at both sites. You're welcome to organize your own volunteer groups and pick dates that work best for you. We ask that you send Berkshire Bounty the total amount you picked.

Location: Kelso Homestead Blueberries, 207 Bromley Road, Chester

There is a 2-4 week harvesting timeframe.
