Who We Are
Neighborhood Ninjas uses the sport of American Ninja Warrior to help underserved youth develop active lifestyles, confidence, connection, compassion and resilience.
What We Do
Through our trauma-informed mentorship, scholarship opportunities, and community-building programs, we help low-income and underrepresented youth build social-emotional skills and a growth mindset in a safe, active environment by partnering with Ninja Warrior training facilities nationwide to spread community, connection, and compassion, one kid at a time.
NinjaFit Playground
The NinjaFit Playground will act as a social hub promoting community interaction, connection and an avenue to building lasting friendships. Setting the Berkshires apart as a destination that offers Ninja obstacle training experiences not available anywhere else in Berkshire County, the multifaceted equipment will attract residents and visitors seeking a novel fitness challenge.
Free group classes and Community Days will be offered for both youth, especially teens, and adults, expanding recreational options available in the county. The classes will focus on engaging participants in regular physical exercise, fostering a healthy lifestyle and on improved overall well-being among residents. The playground inspires residents, youth, athletes with intellectual disabilities, and families from diverse backgrounds to build community and connection, creating lifelong physical, social, and emotional benefits for all participants.
